Engr. Md. Abdul Aziz is responsible as the Executive Director (Technical and Operation) of Northern Electricity Supply Company Limited (NESCO), an Enterprise of Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) since 2^nd July, 2020, act as a member of the Management Team of the company to assist the Managing Director for overall co-ordination of company’s electricity distribution management, distributing the quality and reliable electricity, operation and maintenance of 33/11kV substations, distribution lines, load management, consumer connections, commercial activities, planning, designing, development and preparation of project profile for the electricity network system of Rajshahi and Rangpur Division under NESCO area. 

He has graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He is a fellow of IEB. After his graduation, he has started his career as an Assistant Engineer in Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) on 1985. Shortly after, he has joined as an Assistant Engineer in Bangladesh Power Development Board in 1986 and subsequently promoted as a Sub-Divisional Engineer, Executive Engineer, Superintendent Engineer, Additional Chief Engineer and Chief Engineer and served various Departments and responsible for implementation of distribution projects under BPDB, near about 35 years of his service.

He has attended many training programs, factory acceptance tests and inspections of 33/11 kV substation equipments, distribution line accessories in Europe, India, China, Singapore and Malaysia. He is an energetic, innovative, hard-working and courageous engineer of the Company.
