Mr. Md. Abul Kashem is one of the Directors of Northern Electricity Supply Company Limited since 07th May, 2017. He was born in a respectable Muslim family of Rangpur District in 1960. He Completed his BA (Pass) from Carmichael College, Rangpur. He is the Vice President Bangladesh Awami league Rangpur City Corporation and also Running President of Bangladesh Fertilizer Association, Rangpur.

He is the previous President of Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industries, also Served as President & Deputy Governor of Rotaract Club Rangpur & former treasurer of Rangpur Diabetic Samity in association He Served as Treasurer, Bangladesh Awami League, Rangpur. He visited many countries of the globe for professional purposes.
